Mindless Sophistication was
originally founded in 2006 as a product-placement advertising
firm that specialized in celebrity gift
bags & lounges for award shows and festivals. With
a belief that everyone deserves to be treated like a celebrity;
especially on their special day we expanded our services to include wedding
planning. In addition to our popular gift
bags & lounges we now offer a number of wedding
and event planning services. We can be as much or as
little involved in the planning process as is required. One thing
we are very proud of is our destination and Jewish
wedding services. We are also proud to be the first
to offer a Wedding
Concierge® service. We believe
that one aspect of the wedding that helps to make every bride and groom feel relaxed on the big day is knowing that
their guests are being treated with the same five star quality service they would provide in their own home. Our
Wedding Concierge® service is just another example of how seriously we take the enjoyment of guests and each wedding
couple.

It is estimated that the current focus of Mindless Sophistication
is around 90% weddings and
other events. Gift
Bags & Gift Lounges account for 10%.
The Woman Behind The Name
Owner, Sandra truly believes that the term Mindless Sophistication is more then a business name; it's a state of mind. A state of mind she tries to embody on a daily basis. Sandra is a unique person who began her career in events during university over 15 years ago and has never stopped. She’s professional but fun. She loves afternoon tea, and is as comfortable in jeans as she is in formal wear. Summer is her favourite season. It’s a time when she can often be found outdoors playing tennis or rowing with her crew. Travel is a passion that needs to be indulged often. She loves people, history and exploring different cultures. She enjoys top quality and insists that all brides and grooms receive the same level of service that she would want for herself. Every couple is unique and she wants to bring that uniqueness out by creating an event that is perfect for them. She'd love to plan a wedding on a train or anywhere equally offbeat.
